Bloomsburg University Foundation

New Visual Identity Encourages Foundation Giving

Challenge

The Bloomsburg University Foundation’s mission is to support the advancement of Bloomsburg University, one of the oldest and largest universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.  The Foundation was in need of a strategic and tactical partner to help them envision a communications plan for a monumental $50 million It’s Personal capital campaign. Our goal: to support the Foundation in their kickoff and throughout the duration of campaign.

Solution

We started the branding and visual identity process by interviewing members of the university faculty and staff as well as students and alumni. This research guided development of a comprehensive communication plan with multi-audience, multi-year tactical components. To introduce the campaign, we developed a new website, campaign prospectus and collateral for each of the four campaign priorities.

 

Results

The campaign website launched in early October 2015, and serves as a critical storytelling platform in support of the foundation’s fundraising efforts. The new site is seeing:

The It’s Personal logo and broader visual identity established through the campaign’s initial set of deliverables has proven to be a flexible, adaptable system that has transferred to widespread use in print and electronic communication vehicles, both in projects MoJo Active continues to direct as well as client-managed projects.


The team at Mojo Active did a great job of working with our staff from both the university and the foundation. From the very beginning of our creative process they effectively identified our needs and involved the right people from their team to help create a plan that showcases the It’s Personal brand and ties it with the university and its mission.
