About You:

We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter with the skills to help lead content and copy across the agency. If you’re looking to punch a clock and crank out cookie-cutter messages for boring brands, the back button is right up there on the left side of your browser. On the other hand, if you think you’ve got what it takes to write strategy-driven, user-focused messages that connect from headline to CTA and beyond, then keep scrolling, friend.

About the Role:

We’re on a mission to move hearts and minds with every image, every pixel, every message we build. When you join our team, you become an integral part of that process. From dynamic websites and ecommerce stores to integrated email, search and social media campaigns, you will hit the ground running with a variety of national clients across a bunch of different markets and industries. 

There will be the occasional print ad, billboard and traditional branding work (whatever the client needs) but you will live and breathe digital most days. 

Before we get into the day-to-day details, requirements and responsibilities of this role, don’t get too hung up on the bullets below. You should be comfortable wearing many hats. As part of a small, collaborative team, versatility is the only must-have, but the rest of this stuff is pretty important too:

Skills & Experience:

  • You know how to step in and lead a full range of copy projects, from content strategy to final campaign execution.
  • You are creative, resourceful, self-motivated, and able to think independently.
  • You have at least 5-7 years in a full-time writing role at an established agency. 
  • You can craft (and follow) brand voice and tone documents for a wide range of industries, markets and audiences.
  • You write compelling copy that engages and converts at every interaction.
  • You have a proven working knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices.
  • You can lead the creation of client copy style guides and messaging strategies.
  • You know how to take UX writing beyond the expected and truly put yourself in your audience’s shoes.
  • You know AP Style inside and out.
  • You are comfortable conducting your own keyword research but believe that writing for people is more important than writing for search engines.
  • You know how to keep multiple projects moving and juggle occasionally overlapping deadlines.
  • You can lead user research and testing when needed.
  • You’ve got an awesome portfolio showcasing your digital storytelling, conceptual and executional skills in integrated digital campaigns, websites and dynamic creative content.
